Welcome
My interest in games began at an early age when I got my hands on my first Nintendo console. I wanted to know everything about the hardware, software and the art. I studied coding to learn how to script events and tools, I studied electronics to understand how the devices work and I practiced art, making pixel sprite animations, character illustrations and entered the 3D realm that would soon absorb all my interest.
After completing a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, I decided to pursue my passion for animation by applying to Gnomon School of Visual Effects, Games and Animation. While awaiting my admission I took on freelance roles animating 2D advertisements for a delivery company in India and 3D creature cycles for an indie game developer in Australia. My technical background and project experience helped carry me through these undertakings, quickly learning new skills and software and collaborating to deliver quality content.
At Gnomon, I became familiar with major parts of the 3D production pipeline including modeling, texturing, sculpting, lighting, effects, rigging and of course animating. I studied in the Games track of the program, with a focus on Animation, which led to my first contract at Coded Snake as a 3D Character Animator making combat and motion cycles for an RPG.
I currently work at Enduring Games, as a general tech artist with an animation focus. This allows me to constantly learn new things about optimizing games and their performance while stepping in and creating animations or cleaning up motion data, and also taking on other tasks including VFX in Niagara, working with materials and blueprints in Unreal Engine to boost visuals and functionality of the games we work on (It is so cool that I get to say all of this!)
